We have used our Bioscan BioLight 3000 extensively on everything
from torn muscles to injuries, lumps and bumps and most recently
post surgery. We have had great response to every treatment and it
has probably been the most worthwhile investment that we have made
in our horses wellbeing. We also use it on all sorts of human
injuries with fantastic results as well. Prince Noir (imported stallion for Barbara Burrows of Silverdene Stud), is an older horse and has regular Bioscan treatments. The difference in his work after a treatment is evident and even my trainers can tell when he has been treated! There were times when Prince used to begin his work a little stiff as he is in his late teens and he is now much happier in his work and seems to give me that little bit extra impulsion and suppleness. International trainers and judges have commented on how elastic and supple he is for his age and Bioscan and Kelley Walker have played a huge part in this being possible. Knowing that Kelley and Bioscan play such a big part in Prince's soundness leaves me very confident that he will continue to be sound and happy in his work for the rest of his ridden career. Kelley has treated my young horse, Luciano, before he was due to be broken in. The treatment gave me peace of mind, ensuring that he was not in any kind of pain before being broken in. Luciano will continue to be treated with Bioscan once he is broken in and I believe that his training should progress very well. Allison O’Neill, Victoria Competing FEI Dressage Kelley started treating my horse Jack (Go Get Em Jack) around 2005 when he was just a young boy starting out in endurance. Over four years later with regular treatments each visit, Kelley is the one addition to my stable that I will NEVER be without. Kelley’s massage techniques, her knowledge of anatomy and muscles, and the way in which she explains everything so that even the layperson can understand is fantastic. She will always take the time to talk about what is happening and help you to understand why and how any issues have occurred, as well as provide maintenance routines between visits if required. The Bioscan system is just incredible and between massages I usually try to have a scan done of Jacky at least every couple of visits. Once again Kelley’s knowledge of this system and how it is best applied to each horse and area of concern is second to none. Kelley is one of the few people that I will put 100% trust into when it comes to my horses and always take on board her advice and apply it religiously. Her knowledge and application of massage and Bioscan is of the highest quality and it always gives you confidence to see someone who knows what they are doing, is able to apply it with confidence and you see the results! In 2006 I purchased the Biolight 3000 for my home use in between Kelley’s visits and since I cant keep Kelley stowed away in my stable, this is the next best thing. This small handheld piece of equipment has proved invaluable with all injuries from tight muscles to cuts and swellings, from insect bites to torn hamstrings! Fantastic for keeping cold muscles soft and warm and for warming up those muscles along the back when feeling a little tired from a hard ride. There are many other Bioscan items I would like to add to my horses wardrobe – all in good time! I cannot recommend Kelley of Performance Horse Therapies enough. The service she has provided for my horses and I over the years is incredible. I truly feel if Jack didn’t receive the treatments he has from Performance Horse Therapies he wouldn’t be in the condition he is today. Kylie Hutcheon, Tasmania & Go Get Em Jack (Endurance)
